PEBBLE & CO began with one dog, a kitchen, and a long list of no. This is how the shop works and why.
How we started
One dog, a kitchen, and a long list of 'no'
PEBBLE & CO began in a small kitchen with a dog who ate everything and a shelf of products that mostly didn't deserve him. We started making our own treats, then found makers who shared the standard, and slowly built the list of things we actually stock.
The standard
If we wouldn't, we don't
Before anything earns a shelf here, it clears the home test: our dogs eat it, our cats finish it, our birds sort through it. Then a veterinary nutritionist checks the ratios, and the label has to say the whole truth. Three gates, no exceptions.
The makers
Small batches, open books
We work with family-run kitchens and small workshops, the kind that answer the phone. Every batch is small enough to date-stamp, and every supplier is named on the product page. That's the whole sourcing philosophy.
We'd rather sell twelve things we believe in than a thousand things we're not sure about.
