Dental care can feel scary. Feel at ease from the start.

What scares people is less the pain than not knowing. We show you what happens on your first visit before you come.

Your first visit,step by step

No treatment happens that day. We only listen, look, and decide together.

  1. We listen to your concerns

We start with where it hurts and the moments from past treatment that scared you.

  2. We take only the scans you need

CT and X-rays are taken only when they are needed to check your condition. We explain why and how before each exam.

  3. We review the results together on screen

We look at the problem tooth on the same screen and explain it with you.

  4. We go over your options and costs

If more than one approach is possible, we explain all of them and give the duration and number of visits in numbers.

  5. We separate what to decide today from what can wait

You do not have to decide on the day. If you need time to think, you are welcome to go home first.

What patients like about LUMEN

We agree on a signal before we begin

If anything hurts or feels stifling, raise your hand. We check in, and we restart only when you say you are fine.

Nothing happens without an explanation

We explain what we are doing and why, looking at your scans together, before we start. If there are several methods, we also give the order of treatment and the expected number of visits.

The same dentist sees you through

The dentist who handles your first consultation stays with you from the treatment plan to the finish. At every visit we explain which stage you are at and what comes next.

Treatments

Which treatment are you looking for? Pick one and your consultation picks up from there.

Implants

We check the bone where the tooth is missing with a CT scan, then decide the implant position and the order of treatment together. At your consultation we walk you through every step up to the crown and the expected visit schedule.

Porcelain laminates

We first listen to what you want to change about the color and shape of your front teeth. We examine the teeth to set how much to shape them, choose the shade and form together, and check your bite after bonding.

Stories from our patients

I had put it off so long I was afraid of being scolded, but they calmly explained why it hurt first. They checked in during treatment, so I could see it through.

40s · Implant

Anesthesia scared me most. After hearing each step, starting with the numbing gel, I was less tense than I expected.

30s · Cavity treatment

They listened first when I said I did not want my front teeth cut down much. They explained what was possible and what was hard, which made deciding easy.

40s · Laminates

I hesitated because treatment might drag on, but I knew the number of visits and the order from the start. It was reassuring that the same dentist kept seeing me.

50s · Restorative care
